APRONFOOLS was started out by founder and head baker, Suraya Tarmizi, out of a little home studio, in January 2015. What began as an obsession of experimenting with Pinterest recipes turned into a blossoming business. From just baking for friends and families, APRONFOOLS moved to supplying baked goods to local cafes and the increasing demand outpaced their ability to produce which led to the rapid growth of the company. From a one-woman- show to a team of 5, APRONFOOLS now operates from a new and bigger studio, producing more and more as they grow. Their aim is to cater to your every sweet need. From cookies, cakes, and pies to made-to- order desserts for parties and weddings, there is little if any that they don’t do. They pride themselves in their craft and use only premium ingredients for their baked goods with a lot of thought, care and attention put into each product. What separates them from other home-bakers, is their lack of fear in exploring the unknown and trying new and curious recipes. As opposed to serving the tried and tested, they strive to always challenge your taste-buds with new flavours and exciting concoctions. And even when they do go traditional, they do it better with their zing!
