The small Battle Creek, NE-based company grew quickly – eventually selling its products across the Midwest, becoming one of the top 15 seed companies in the U.S. In 2005, wanting to provide customers with a broader base of genetics, Producers Hybrids joined with AgReliant Genetics – the largest independent seed business and the third largest corn and soybean seed company in the United States. AgReliant Genetics was formed in 2000 by Limagrain, a French-based farmer-owned company, and KWS, a family-run company headquartered in Germany. Together, these two well-respected global businesses bring more than 200 years of experience in seed genetics and technology.
