The University of Kentucky Solar Car Team is an independent, student-led organization that operates on UK's campus. Our team empowers multidisciplinary students to develop and demonstrate their communication, creativity, and technical skills through hands-on experience designing and constructing solar electric vehicles. These vehicles to compete in national solar car competitions which include the Formula Sun Grand Prix and the American Solar Challenge as well as for STEM Outreach in the Bluegrass region.
