Travel is a way to rediscover the truth of who we are, and that we are more alike than different. We recognize that we are all Sourced from the same Universal Energy, and traveling with that intention leads to personal growth and interpersonal healing on all levels. Tourism and retreats - especially wellness retreats - have become a way for us to “disconnect” rather than reconnect. While we understand it is important to take a break from the everyday grind of life, we also overstand the value of being in tune with the environment that is hosting your life-cation. Not only do the natural surroundings of your vacation destination have beauty, healing, wealth, and wisdom, but the people residing there do as well! With the damage that has already been done to melinated (Black and brown) communities worldwide, we seek to move beyond the current culture of vacation and adventure travel that promotes a one-sided experience without authentic connection. The mission of Sacred Self Global Retreats is to restore and replenish both our retreaters and the places that host our retreats - creating a whole new conscious vacation experience. Essentially, we recognize that everywhere in the world is Sacred space, deserving of honor, respect, and restoration.
