The Population Welfare Department Punjab is striving to achieve the vision of population stabilization in the largest province of Pakistan through promoting family planning as an entitlement. Our objectives are to ensure universal access to family planning methods, increase contraceptive prevalence rate, reduce population growth and total fertility rate. The Department is providing family planning services through Family Health Clinics, Family Welfare Centers, Mobile Service Units and social mobilizers. It has developed meaningful partnership with Health Department, NGOs, Private and Public sector organizations. This page is dedicated to all those volunteers, workers, policy makers and service providers who have spent their youth and energy to promote family planning in last seventy years in odd conditions.
