MobileDOCK, in its simplest form is Air Traffic Control for the ground. It provides the site with the ability to control what deliveries, from which carriers arrive at their site at what time. It connects the community of parties to a delivery transaction (the tenant, the shipper, the carrier, and the destination) to provide the destination with control over who has access to the docks, and when they are scheduled. It works by facilitating a process of the carriers and drivers booking appointments at the site they have selected via a web browser on a mobile device or computer. Appointments are approved based on the rules determined by the site such as the • dock opening hours, • who the carrier is delivering to, • the truck size and • product types being delivered We’ve had close to 5 million appointments executed through the system at leading sites including Barangaroo, Sydney Opera House, Westfield Sydney, David Jones, Emporium, and 80 Collins Street.
