Green Piranhas developed Snap2Save our digital customer engagement platform, with a focus on the independent grocery market. Snap2Save is a loyalty app that provide shoppers with direct cash-value rewards, targeted offers, rebates for health care expenses and incentives for purchasing healthy foods. Snap2Save is a retailed-based platform for low-income consumer engagement, allowing discount and independent grocers to compete in today’s disrupted retail market. Snap2Save first launched at select Colorado Save-A-Lot stores in 2018. Snap2Save is a new kind of grocery shopping loyalty app that goes beyond saving customers money to helping them eat healthier by incenting the purchase of fresh produce. Registered customers earn 1 point for every dollar they spend at participating Save-A-Lot stores and redeem points for gift cards or health care rebates. Through Healthy Food Rewards, Snap2Save promotes healthy eating by offering up to 3X points for the purchase of fresh fruit and vegetables. Future expansions of the Healthy Food Reward program will include other healthy in-store offerings, such as lean meat. Users also receive special offers, the chance to win prizes, access to healthy recipes, and the ability to check their SNAP EBT balances with the touch of a finger.
