Joanne Rowling (best known as J.K. Rowling) is one of the most inspiring female novelists of today. Putting pen to paper for the first time at just five or six, the novelist, philanthropist, film producer, television producer and screenwriter spent years living and working as a single mother on government assistance before Harry Potter earned her notoriety. Her dream was born from a very young age and she would do anything to see its fruition.
