Established in 2021. We enable young surveyors in the North East to support one another and meet like-minded young professionals. We aim to provide a range of social activities, CPD and APC support. 1947 Club Next Generation has been formed to work in partnership with and complement the work of the RICS Matrics North East, with the benefit of the vast experience and support of The 1947 Club. Membership is free to all surveying students, either at College/University that are currently studying and, on a surveying, related course/apprenticeship scheme. It is also open to those looking for employment in a surveying role that may have also just graduated. Similarly, it is free to those that are already registered with the RICS and pursuing qualification/APC or whom may be recently Chartered and still eligible to be a Matrics member. It will provide opportunities for the younger members of the profession to access the considerable knowledge and resources of the 1947 Club Members as well as offer additional networking and CPD opportunities.
