The San Pablo Economic Development Corporation (SPEDC) is a non-profit organization founded with a five-member board. The SPEDC focuses on economic and workforce development by delivering programs, providing access to training, engaging in public-private partnerships and linking community resources. The goal of SPEDC is to retain and expand business, to help people access the skills needed for higher wage jobs, and to establish a positive, highly visible reputation for San Pablo in the Bay Area. The SPEDC will create a basis for an economically sustainable and successful community. The SPEDC offers workshops, training and classes for businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals. Offerings are a mix of programs we develop and deliver ourselves as well as those delivered by partner organizations.
