The Centre for eResearch and Digital Innovation (CeRDI) is located within Federation University's Research Portfolio. Through research, knowledge transfer and commercial activities CeRDI promotes innovation through the application of new technologies. CeRDI actively pursues partnerships with industries, organisations, enterprises and communities with the aim of contributing to and enhancing technology application and knowledge transfer. CeRDIactivities contribute to the achievement of Federation University's 2020 agenda and mission which is: "To promote the growth and well-being of individuals, organisations and communities in our part of Australia, and beyond, through education, training, research and partnerships." The CeRDI Team also demonstrate Federation University's commitment and contribution to technology and knowledge transfer. In the ever-changing technology world, CeRDI continues to grow and learn in partnership with the industries, organisations, enterprises and the communities it serves. It is developing momentum as an ICT focal point in the Central Highlands and Wimmera regions of Victoria, while also increasingly being linked to exemplary initiatives across the state and the nation.
