Sometimes we lend to our members, sometimes we provide grants. Sometimes we help our members help each other. We are a self-help community for people who don't deserve to be limited forever by their credit score. Our mission is to serve as a safety need and a springboard for households left out by banks and digital alternatives. If that sounds worthwhile to you, join us and help out. We are a collaborative effort. Our team includes generous sponsors, volunteers, and paid staff. We don't care much for conventional qualifications. We look for talent, motivation and a good heart in all shapes and sizes. Everyone here has shown up, asked for something to do and worked their way onto the team. It does help to be really smart. We have a 14 year old intern who might be running things before he hits legal drinking age.
