It undertakes projects in its own right and also provides expert consultancy advice for both public and private sector bodies, focussing upon adaptive re-use and strategic redevelopment of vulnerable historic sites. Current projects range from the development and implementation of the Kilmarnock CARS/THI regeneration scheme, Argyll & Bute Council's £2.5m Rothesay Townscape Heritage Initiative, and the £1m consolidation of Portencross Castle on the Ayrshire Coast. The practice was part of the team which successfully delivered the £28m conservation and refurbishment of the B-listed Turnberry Hotel and provides ongoing heritage management advice to the owners. Churches are an important part of our workload, providing advice to a range of congregations and denominations. Current clients include St. Meddan's Church in Troon, Pollokshaws Parish Church in Glasgow, Sandyford Martyr's in Paisley, and Riccarton Parish Church. These projects range from repair programmes through to strategic analyses of facilities and the design of new halls. The practice provides design and built heritage advice to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority, providing advice on planning applications as well as grant funding, and are expert advisors to the Heritage Lottery Fund in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
