IPS supports the nation’s demand for effective solutions to preserve pavement assets. Clearly one of the biggest advancements (and backed by a track record of performance since 2002) for effectively preserving roadways is HA5. Moving beyond slurry, seal coats, microsurfacing, and chip seals, etc. is the category of High Density Mineral Bond. HA5 is the only product meeting the High Density Mineral Bond specification established by the APWA and now published by multiple state DOTs to effectively preserve pavement assets. HA5 was originally developed by Holbrook Asphalt. Today Holbrook Asphalt operates as a construction company and IPS (Integrated Pavement Solutions) provides access to HA5 and other preservation solutions to qualified contractors.
