Techsearch M&A
www.techsearchmanda.comTechsearch is a UK consultancy that works exclusively in the international engineering and technology sectors. We manage trade sales on behalf of SMEs but our main activity is to help companies gain value and liquidity which they would never be able to do on their own. We accomplish this by a process referred to as Agglomeration. Really large companies i.e. those with turnovers greater than £50million focus on the value of their companies as represented by their stock price. A ten percent increase in revenue over a year does not do a lot for the stock price but a £20million acquisition does. As the senior managers' bonuses are in stock options, they really want the stock price to increase. A solution to this problem is acquisitions because a £20m acquisition adds scale and will certainly help improve the share price. A similar logic applies to small companies. If they are grouped together and floated on a stock exchange, are profitable and without debt, then that is a solid base on which to get market visibility and grow. If additional companies are added to the group on a regular basis, we get scale and share growth over the medium term, as well as liquidity for the shareholders. We are currently working in the following sectors: Aerospace, Automotive, Defence. For owners and shareholders who wish to exit, we market their companies into the trade, help them prepare the necessary documentation and negotiate the best price.
