Draft is a multi-user home design interface that takes the time, stress, and worry out of designing your home and tracking the selections you’ve made. For a homeowner, the Draft platform solves a couple different problems; how do I choose my options, when do I make the big design decisions, and do I know how this is all going to look? For a building professional, homeowner decisions are clearly communicated and tracked. This reduces the need for change orders and the dreaded “well I don’t remember what I chose“ or “I didn’t choose that“ answers. Decisions can be made early, making estimates more accurate and reducing delays during construction. Design professionals such as subcontractors, architects, and designers can also utilize the program to guide their customers in the selections process. Inspiration for the Draft platform came from the desire to organize the selection process, eliminate costly change orders, and reduce confusion. Although homes and technology have advanced, we are still stuck going through the same process we did decades ago. We still deal with the same miscommunications between the homeowner, builder, and subcontractor. Draft simplifies the selection process by giving a hands-on program that allows the builder, owner, and designer to make selections together and to make those selections clear.
