Hello! We are Jacqueline and Alastair and we have taken over Cliff House in the pretty village of Ebberston, moving from the City of Sheffield to the North Yorkshire countryside with our two children (Thing 1 and Thing 2), Udal the dog, our cat Goose and a flock of ducks. As a small family run business our aim is to offer modern, friendly self catering holiday accommodation in our range of 5 self catering holiday cottages. Set within 2 acres of gardens, plenty of country walks and an indoor heated swimming pool there is lots to do without the need to go far. Having just taken the business over in 2020 (our timing could have been a bit better!), we have lots of changes planned for the business. It is still very early days, but we hope to do our bit for the environment with everything that we do, through using eco friendly washing products, creating a meadow in our gardens and offering recycling facilities. When we aren’t working in the garden or baking cakes, we can be found out and about exploring the countryside and coast with the kids, dog and cameras. Living on site, we will usually be around to offer advice as to where to go to make the best out of your visit to North Yorkshire We look forward to welcoming soon to our family home.
