INTRODUCTION The International Relations Office was established in 2012 as per the concept of the UGC to transform Universities as world class Universities in their chosen fields. InRO is exclusively dedicated to enhance global Relations, to promote multidisciplinary collaborative research programs, and to facilitate students and staff members by providing resources, platforms and scholarly exchanges. The InRO has been functioning as a streamlining unit for all international exchanges and research of University of Peradeniya, and has initiated and renewed links and agreements of UoP with several international institutions. The International Relations Office, since its establishment, has worked towards expanding such Relations and international partner institutions. The Office continues at promoting the research culture and global engagement of University of Peradeniya while enhancing its global visibility. VISION To uphold the international identity of University of Peradeniya and to proceed as a world-leading hub of research and development. MISION The International Relations Office is dedicated in promoting research at national and international levels by facilitating those through academic programs and providing the students and staff with resources, scholarships and required platforms.
