Phil Sherrill began his carreer in 1983, working with Prudential Financial as a financial planner just after he returned to N.C. from living 4 years in Jackson, Wyoming. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Appalachian State University and is a Chartered Financial Consultant, as well as a Chartered Life Underwriter. He holds the following securities regulation: Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65. Phil is also licensed through the states of North Carolina and South Carolina for life, health and disability insurance. Phil Sherrill, ChFC focuses on developing and implementing retirement and estate plans for private clients. Phil has focused on working with CPA's, helping them offer more proactive and holistic planning to their clients. The firm also incorporates advanced tax planning techniques to help minimize income and estate taxes, and utilizes appropriate investment strategies in order to focus on capital preservation and multi-generational wealth management. Phil also serves on the Board of Directors of Coach Joe Gibbs Game Plan for Life Outreach Ministry which serves to morally rehabilitate prison inmates and also as an outreach to men to become better husbands, fathers and leaders in the community.
