Computer Buddy At Computer Buddy, we believe in the ability of all citizens, whether aged, infirm or otherwise challenged to use and benefit from the tools of technology. Many “training” courses or seminars don’t fully understand the challenges and capabilities of various unique populations as they are aimed at the general population. I structured Computer Buddy workshops and support to provide initial introduction of these tools at a pace conducive to senior learning and in a powerful interactive, hands-on format that is most effective at strengthening memory. But that’s just the beginning. How many times have you learned something, only to later forget what you learned, or even what your notes mean? This isn’t the exception. It’s the norm. Learning needs continued use to become long-term knowledge. Computer Buddy provides on-going support and assistance to help people re-learn (repeat to remember, remember to repeat) or just get themselves over a frustrating spot. This is the key to enabling seniors and other challenged populations to continue their activity in and with our digital world. Computer Buddy has several workshops available. We offer the first one at no cost to your community or the participants in exchange for the opportunity to talk about our follow up support services. There are a number of others available, and Computer Buddy can create custom seminars to match the need of your community. Computer Buddy provides real-time, online, remote access support for seniors and others who need anything from help getting over a bump ("can't find that document!") to assistance diagnosing computer issues or infections. Computer Buddy will do housecalls in the Denver metro area for problems that have taken client computers offline.
