Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park is the first integrated industrial area in Indonesia to facilitate mineral smelting and to produce component of electric vehicle’s battery. Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park is developed in Weda, Central Halmahera Regency, North Moluccas Province, Indonesia, and has started the construction since it held the pilling ceremony in 2018, which was attended by Coordinating Minister of Economic and Maritime , Mr. Luhut Pandjaitan and Minister of Transportation, Mr. Budi Karya Sumadi, following by some national and local figures such as CEO PT Aneka Tambang, Gubernur Maluku Utara, Bupati Halmahera Tengah, Sultan Tidore, Kapolda Malut and local people from Weda who were very enthusiastic to participate at the ceremony. First Phase Construction is expected will be ready by first quarter of 2020. Therefore, the company has committed to follow several principles of Green Industry: a. Integrate the industry chain to reduce millions of tons of raw materials movement and achieve huge energy saving b.
