Around the world, millions of patients suffer from drug-resistant pain on a daily basis. For many of them, medical cannabis drugs offer the hope of getting a new lease of life. In 2021, France initiated national trials that will lead to the marketing authorisation of these new treatments in 2023, as more than 20 European countries before. It is in the context of this experiment that ARCANES PHARMA is participating in the development of a French sector of medicinal products based on natural cannabinoids. Firstly, by setting up a research laboratory (1) which aims to evolve from 2024 into a pharmaceutical laboratory (2), with the intention of marketing drugs (3) made with raw materials grown in France from 2025.
