www.motionfamily.comWE ARE MOTION FAMILY, a tight-knit artistic collective formed in 2005 by David KA, Diwang Valdez and Sebastian Urrea. With backgrounds in design, photog-raphy, and video production, our mission was to change the game with fresh, unprecedented content that represented who we were, where we came from, and where we knew media was headed.It was our music video work that first gained us worldwide acclaim, with a client list ranging from Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, and Snoop Dogg to Young Thug, Jeezy, and Lil’ Wayne. Not only were the visuals arresting, but the way we made them proved to be equally disruptive. By identifying emerging trends and unsung potential in the marketplace, we were able to outmaneuver all the old media obstacles by paving our own lane. Simply put: We worked harder, faster, and smarter. And we still do.In addition to our ever expanding music video catalogue, we’ve also been respon-sible for a number of successful ad campaigns. We connected Casio G-Shock to a brand new generation of urban skateboarders. We helped Usher in the BET Hip Hop Awards with exciting television and viral content that celebrated the culture. Earlier this year we directed a multi-platform national campaign that goes deep into the complex and challenging world of today’s youth with an inspirational and aspirational message about living tobacco-free.Our work has been recognized worldwide. We’ve been featured on CNN, written up in The New York Times and XXL, and regularly showcased by The Fader and Complex magazines, just to name a few. We’re regular panelists at seminars and festivals across the country. Our videos have garnered billions of views online. And we’re just getting started.
