The Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, established in 2003, is an interdisciplinary organizational unit, dedicated to research and graduate study in computational engineering and sciences, with a strong core in computational and applied mathematics and high-performance computing. Oden Institute programs include world-renowned research programs carried out across 18 active research centers and groups, a visiting scholars program, a unique interdisciplinary graduate degree program in Computational Science Engineering and Mathematics, and a post-doctoral fellowship program. Oden Institute research contributes broad societal impact across applications in engineering, science, medicine and geoscience.
