Burlington Public Library is a large urban Canadian library system serving a population of 183,000 on the western boundary of the Greater Toronto Area. Established in 1872, the Library has seven locations citywide: Central Library, five branches (Aldershot, Alton, Brant Hills, New Appleby, Tansley Woods), and a small lending collection serving the rural hamlet of Kilbride.
