The Hellenic Mediterranean University Research Center (HMURC) was established in 2019 and its goal is to enable interaction between faculty, scholars, students, and industry to enhance research opportunities, academic excellence, knowledge creation, and dissemination. HMU Research Center consists of the following 6 research institutes: 1) Institute of Emerging Technologies 2) Institute of Plasma Physics & Lasers 3) Institute of Energy, Environment & Climate Change 4) Institute of Physics of the Earth's Interior & Geohazards 5) Institute of Economic Analysis, Entrepreneurship & Tourism 6) Institute of Agri-Food & Life-Sciences.
