The Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), established in 1998, is a public enterprise, registered and licensed as banking operations. Its objective is to fully support the government’s policy in economic development in agricultural sector, through providing finances to all key stakeholders of value chain and make linkage among value chain stakeholders in order to enhance value and to foster social-economic development. The Agricultural and Rural Development Bank plays a vital role in fulfilling the lack of demand and supply of financial services in the rural areas in order to take part in poverty alleviation and to raise the living condition of rural Cambodian people.
