We apply advanced approaches that assist in ensuring the world has a circular economy to that can be depended upon by providing solutions to environmental issues which are sustainable and resilient. The 3 E's of sustainability require ethically and economically informed consideration of environmental issues. The 3 P's of resilience requires recognition that people and the planet must be considered ahead of profits. Fading ethics have allowed too many organizations to sacrifice environmental imperatives for the sake of economics, but profits are too transient to be allowed to be more important than our people or our planet. We provide ethical solutions that ensure profitable outcomes are ensured for those participating in environmental recovery efforts. Without economics that ensure prosperity, even the best intentioned efforts are unsustainable. Environmental recovery must overcome mankind's unsustainable resource use trajectory (RUT) which has put us on a path towards an escalating global crisis of increasing pollution of the land, air, and sea. The first 3 R's of Sustainability are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Greater and more general application of these must be emphasized, but it is not enough. The 7 R's of Resilient Sustainability build upon the first 3: 4. Recover value from materials that are otherwise just tossed into landfills. 5. Recapture energy from wastes that have been sitting in landfills for years. 6. Remediate hazardous organic toxicants by turning them into clean syngas. 7. Reward those that perform these tasks with economic sustainability.
