Kennedy Woods is a London-based creative studio whose mission is to help purpose-driven businesses create social impact through Architecture, Design, Strategy and Storytelling. We are a values-led organisation, who in 2019 became the UK’s first and only Architecture B Corporation. Our studio was born from a desire to roll-up our sleeves and engage with design beyond the drawing board to affect positive change. We see design as a problem-solving tool and focus on projects where human-centred innovation can unlock an improved quality of life for key communities and stakeholder groups. We believe divergent thinking requires diversity. Our team of thinkers, makers and instigators, encompasses a broad range of design capabilities including Architecture, Product, Environment, Communications, Experience, Engagement and Design Research. We work across multiple scales and sectors, but with notable experience in four key focus areas: Education, Healthcare, Affordable Housing, and Social Infrastructure. While the outcomes vary, each project shares a common approach, based on the principles of user-centred design. Our process is methodical and evidence-based. We work collaboratively with clients, users and other stakeholders to involve them in the design process, through interviews, workshops and co-design processes, to help frame challenges, draw insights, develop concepts, and implement plans.
