Sydney's Alexandria is home to the iconic French Café and Grocer, Bitton Gourmet, offering a five star experience in a relaxed family friendly café environment. Owned by top French chef David Bitton who created the cafe in 2000 along with a line of gourmet products that are sold both nationally and internationally. In 2010 he published his own cookbook called: Bitton: A french Inspired Cafe Cookbook. 60,000 copies were sold in Australia. Private events include cooking classes and Degustation Dinners with menu's designed by David. The cafe had its 10 year anniversary in 2010.
