The focus of my work at RocketGirl Solutions is simple: to bring order and intelligence to the small business world. My clients are good at what they do and have a passion for their work. But often they don’t know a lot about how to operate a business efficiently. I step in to work with these people and their senior staff to create straightforward processes and pull together the pieces they need to run the business well. I also tap my network of subject matter experts - tech, finance, design, etc. - and bring them into the loop as necessary. As as result, the business grows, they start making more money, and the owner is both less stressed and more able to focus on doing what they do best. I specialize in three areas: Workflow. I help companies fit the pieces of their business together systematically and intelligently, removing the silos and creating efficiencies within and between departments and locations. Office Logistics. I do anything that involves figuring out the back-end pieces that make the company run. Things like fleet management, payroll and banking set up, phone system installations and network migrations, to name just a few. Project Management. I help companies manage critical, ad hoc projects when they don’t have the time or expertise to handle it themselves. Examples include web site builds, software implementation and event planning
