MXD has principally been involved in the supply of VIDAR medical film digitizers into a wide range of applications, including PACS, mammography CAD, teleradiology, oncology, and orthopaedic surgery. We are evolving and are developing our relationship with Array Corporation and building our client base across Industrial Radiography specifically in non destructive testing of welds in pipelines and of aircraft parts. The Array's 2905 Laser Film Digitizer is the equipment of choice for users who demand the highest image quality for non destructive test and examination radiographs. Using precise optics and a helium neon laser, the 2905 captures your industrial radiographs with speed, accuracy and reliability. MXD has a partnership with Iberis Software and we have worked closely to develop 3 levels of NDT scanning and review software. Our customers include NHS and Private Hospitals, Medical Research Establishments, Teaching Hospitals, Universities & Laboratories. Our customers can be found throughout the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Vidar ceased production of their digitizers in 2020, however, Reprotec, MXD's sister company, are the European support centre for Vidar and have been for 25 years. We will continue to support Vidar digitizers from our Hungerford workshop where we have factory trained engineers, the necessary test equipment and a very extensive stock of replacement parts.
