Andertons Ribble Valley Butchers has been supplying quality British meat to its loyal customers since 1972. Brendan and Petrina Anderton built the business on traditional skills, quality goods and consistently providing a first-class service. Over 45 years on from the opening of their Longridge Shop, the business today remains very much, a family run business. We are one of the best known and established businesses within the Ribble Valley. Our meat is predominantly sourced from the Lake District, Trough of Bowland, Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales and we are very proud to offer the some of the very best Northern produce this country has to offer. Our supply is through an AHDB assured chain with only the very best locally farmed cattle being selected for our customers. We operate across four markets, direct retail through our traditional butchers shop, online sales through our sales portal on our website, and catering and wholesale supply through our cutting plant. Our licensed EC cutting plant (UK 4834) is located within the heart of the Ribble Valley, in a little hamlet named Hothersall, on the outskirts of Longridge. We are fully accredited with BRC (AA Grade) accreditation. This is where the catering/wholesale side of the business is run, and we are able to supply hospitals, schools, hotels, homes for the elderly, pubs and restaurants. We deliver to a large geographical area throughout the North of England, including, The Lake District, Lancaster, Blackpool, Preston, Liverpool, Chester, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds and as far south as Birmingham, with a large area between these destinations.
