Havilah Resources has successfully financed and developed its first gold mine at Portia, which to date has produced over 20,000 ounces of gold. It plans to follow on with two copper-gold developments, namely Kalkaroo copper-gold and Mutooroo copper-cobalt. This is underpinned by a JORC minerals resource inventory of almost 1.3 million tonnes of copper and 3.15 million ounces of gold plus substantial cobalt, molybdenum, iron ore and tin. Havilah’s ability to find more mineral resources to sustain its development model for the foreseeable future is underwritten by its excellent track record of exploration success.
