2223 Media was originally founded in Berkeley, California by Justin Wong and Jonathan Delmendo, as a small project to put unused film equipment to use. It began as small gigs recording underground concerts and jam sessions, and has since expanded into art exhibitions, studio recording, fashion shows, commercial projects, and more! With that growth came a need for a larger team, with the additions of Eliza Summers as head audio engineer, as well as Sariel Palad and Becket Schroeder as additional videographers. While our core team is still small, we've built an extensive network of videographers and other partners that we work with frequently on more demanding projects. To keep in line with our values and preserve artistic integrity, we operate as an egalitarian collective and believe strongly in democratic workplaces - especially creative ones!
