www.albertsonscompanies.comThe Albertsons Companies PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency program provides a wide array of opportunities to ensure your professional development in community pharmacy. The program purpose is to build upon the doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D) education and outcomes to develop community-based pharmacist practitioners with diverse patient care, leadership, and education skills who are eligible to pursue advanced training opportunities including postgraduate year two (PGY2) residencies and professional certifications. Our experienced community practice sites provide an ever-expanding scope of patient care services, including patient-centered medication dispensing, medication therapy management, chronic condition management, routine and travel immunizations, specialty medication administration, point-of-care testing, and wellness services. A dedicated team of preceptors oversee each resident's successful completion of learning objectives. Research, teaching, and clinic experiences are also supported by the university partner. The resident's exposure to corporate training programs, meetings, and projects with leadership further develop management and leadership skills. Successful completion of residency program provides tremendous opportunity for career growth and opportunities. Albertsons Companies offers 14 residency positions across the US: • Baltimore, MD.
