ProChem Inc. was founded in 1986 by Reno Novak, president, as a high purity inorganic chemical manufacturing company. For the past 30 years, ProChem has been supplying many industries with high purity metal oxides, rare earth salts, and other inorganic compounds. With over 60 years of experience in synthesizing new products, and a philosophy which centers on flexibility and service, we strive to meet and exceed our customers' needs. ProChem, Inc. originated by specializing in the synthesis and purification of inorganic and organometallic chemical compounds. These chemicals went directly into many commercial applications such as semiconductors (computer chips), lasers, ceramics, and medical technology applications. ProChem operates from a manufacturing site that encompasses over 25,000 square feet of manufacturing space. We manufacture at our facility in the US and responsibly source and test our raw materials to make sure that they are of the best quality possible. ProChem uses 50, 100, and 200 gallon glass-lined reactors for high purity chemical production. ProChem has a hot oil system that can be utilized for high temperature reactions up to 230 degrees Celsius. ProChem has in house analytical capabilities that minimize the time in between synthesis and shipping. This includes ICP-OES, AA, GC, FTIR and HPLC capabilities. In addition, we use specialized outside contract analytical laboratories for ultra-high purity analysis like ICP-MS for parts per billion (ppb) and parts per trillion (ppt) trace analysis and XRD for conformational analysis.
