Ivey Management and Policy Forum
www.iveymsca.comThe purpose of Ivey Policy & Management Forum (IMPF) as a subsidiary of the Ivey MSc Association (MScA) is to create an experiential learning opportunity for motivated students, academics, and industry leaders by creating innovative research content at the intersections of management science and public policy. Our main objectives will be to: -Publish short research articles, policy briefs, and op-eds throughout the Ivey MSc in Management academic year related to topical management issues and/or management science theories -Collaborate on larger scale research pieces with other students, professors, alumni, or members of academia -Publicize and archive student research articles through the MScA -Host academically-oriented panels, conferences , and research discussion forums -Increase the value proposition of the MScA to our students Structure: IMPF Executive Director(s) manage and oversee the IMPF, establish partnerships, liaise with Ivey faculty, and select researchers and IMPF members will be led by an internally appointed MScA Executive member(s) who will serve as the Executive Director(s). IMPF Researcher/Analysts: Conduct case study research for the IMPF, including short research articles once per month, op-eds, and contribute to the end-term research paper. Student Researchers/Analysts will be selected by the Executive Director for 8-month terms. IMPF Research Fellows: Ivey MSc alumni will help the IMPF with content ideation, research, editing, generating new publications, marketing the IMPF, and providing general council to the current members. IMPF Board of Advisors: Ivey faculty members, industry professional, and MSc alumni work with the IMPF Executive team on business development, student education, and product management.
