The Nixyáawii Community Financial Services (NCFS) is a relatively new Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), certified by Treasury's CDFI Fund in December of 2021. The mission of the Umatilla Tribes’ CDFI is to improve the financial well-being of people in the Umatilla Indian Reservation community through loans and development services, such as business planning, credit counseling, and homebuyer classes to help borrowers use credit effectively to build personal assets and wealth.
