Gemini Edibles & Fats India Limited (GEF India), a Hyderabad based company is into the business of manufacturing and marketing of edible oils and fats. GEF India has three port based manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh. GEF India is a subsidiary of Golden Agri-Resources (GAR), one of the world's largest fully integrated, seed to shelf, palm oil-based agribusinesses. GAR owns and manages nearly half a million (500,000) hectares of palm oil plantations, including smallholder farms, across Indonesia. Its downstream refining and specialty product facilities enable it to produce products for the global food, oleochemical, and energy markets. GAR is listed on the Singapore Exchange and has a market capitalisation of US$2.3 billion as at 31 December 2018.
