The Birkdale Paediatric and Adult Neurological physiotherapy clinic have celebrated 25 years of providing specialist care for patients with complex neurological disorders. Farshideh Bondarenko the founder of the clinic has a keen interest in the management of long term neurological conditions and over the years has become renowned for the specialist neurological physiotherapy she and her team provide to stimulate patients’ sensory, motor and language systems, harnessing their brains’ neuroplasticity to bring about significant improvements. In October 2013 Farshideh expanded her clinic and opened a new purposed-equipped building in West London to become an all encompassing private treatment and rehabilitation centre for children and adults, named the Birkdale Neuro Rehabilitation Centre. The Birkdale Centre offers 6 consulting rooms enabling colleagues of Farshideh’s in parallel fields to join the practise and hence extend the scope of specialised services which can be provided to our clients. Furthermore a specially equipped rehabilitation gym with the latest Functional Electrical Stimulation equipment is also available for independent or assisted use by individuals. The new Birkdale Centre in Alperton, West London is 5 minutes from Alperton underground station on the Piccadilly Line and has ample free car parking space directly outside the building, making it easy to reach. The Centre overlooks the Grand Union Canal and has a tranquil landscaped Japanese garden, making it both an stimulating and calming environment in which patients can work on their treatment.
