Black Women in Media (BWIM) was created in 2014 by the need for representation. BWIM provides a community of women dominating in Communications, Media, Entertainment, Literature + Publishing, TV & Film, Digital + Tech, Radio + Broadcast, and so much more. BWIM works diligently to inspire women within our community by recognizing those breaking barriers and dominating in their respective fields. This platform is a daily collection of phenomenal women, inspiration, and related news. BWIM will provide a number of resources while bridging the gap with pioneers with future leaders. This is the online destination for Black women with a passion for media. Black Women In Media also hosts annual awards and conference gathering thousands of women and providing awe-inspiring experiences. The Conference consists of a series of 30+ panels, workshops, and keynote speakers. The awards ceremony gathers some of the biggest names in Media, Communications, and Entertainment. BWIM will exciting launch BWIM TV: a live stream series showcasing Black women as well as an online publication featuring daily relative content featuring women and empowering our audience. BWIM has also launched a membership program providing incentives that range from access to exclusive experiences, a directory, online community, and many other incentives.
