Mike and Lori Nikonovich enjoyed visiting wineries on their days off and became friends with different owners, this gave them the encouragement and insight to start their own adventure. As a family owned and operated winery we all participate and want every guest to feel at home. They started with a smaller boutique winery in Edwardsville in 2006. The original downtown location opened in December 2008 on the site of the former Grafton Elementary School. We continued to grow by expanding the Brewhaus to the current size in 2011 and the storage and Confluence Patio addition in 2013. Our newest expansion, Grafton Winery The Vineyards, opened in 2015 just 4 miles away next to the Eckerts Grafton Farm.
