The Connecticut Sun are a professional women’s basketball team based in Uncasville, Connecticut, playing in the Eastern Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded in Orlando, Florida in 1999 and later moved to Uncasville after the Mohegan Indian tribe purchased and relocated the team to Mohegan Sun, becoming the first Native American tribe to own a professional sports franchise. The Mohegan Sun Arena is our home.
