Our community of small business owners, entrepreneurs and social change agents saw the recent devastation inflicted on our restaurants, local farmers and nonprofits and we decided to do something about it. Because of the caution people are exercising, restaurants are losing business, farmers are struggling to sell produce and nonprofits are not able to hold fundraising events. We thought: “What if we could bring great new restaurants to people while supporting local nonprofits?” Our answer? The Denver Box. We’ve created a food and drink kit for four people that highlights a new restaurant and nonprofit each month. Fifty percent of the proceeds go to the restaurant and fifty percent goes to further the work of the nonprofit we are partnered with. These boxes are intended for people who love food, community, and stories. Each box has a QR code which you scan to connect you directly to the story of the nonprofit we are partnered with that month - and later follow-up with a recap video to show how your purchase is changing lives. We believe we can support local businesses, many nonprofits and do it all while supporting our community’s most vulnerable in the process.
