Robert Ferraroni is a product design division of Ferra Designs, a fine architectural metal, glass and wood company located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, NYC. Robert Ferraroni is a master craftsman, acclaimed furniture designer, and a top expert on luxury metal design. Robert’s formal training includes extensive work with the sculptor Michael Malpass at Pratt (BID '88) and studies in Milan with members of the Memphis Group. His training in the fine crafts began as an apprentice to his father, a master furniture maker. Later work with artists at the vanguard of hip-hop culture birthed an instinct for identifying quality collaborations. Recent architectural projects through his firm Ferra Designs include residences with Tom Kundig, Steven Harris, and Roger Ferris. In 2018 he helped realize a new take on the Four Seasons with Isay Weinfeld. Ferraroni regularly hosts dialogues and working sessions with top designers in his 30,000 sqft studio at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Each year he explores his own creative impulses with the launch of a novel RF product line. This year's launch of "Gem" is the coda to a three-year exploration of earth forms and natural beauty.
