Modish Media is an advisory focused on building audio strategies and advising on fundraising & acquisitions in the podcast space. Before founding Modish Media, Chris Peterson served as President of Kindred Media at LionTree, a global investment and merchant bank. While at LionTree, they invested in numerous podcast companies and advised on nearly $2 billion in audio transactions. Before LionTree, he created the podcast strategy for iHeart Media and launched the iHeart Podcast Network in 2016 as EVP of Podcasting. In 2018, he led the acquisition of the How Stuff Works podcast network, making the iHeart Podcast Network the largest podcast network in the world.
