Westchester Disabled On the Move, Inc., established in 1984, is a not-for-profit community-based organization and the premier disability advocate in Westchester County. Here, we specialize in providing a safe and non-residential center for people facing a broad range of disabilities. At WDOMI, we are committed to giving back to our community by offering personalized programs and services for free to consumers with disabilities and their families. As an organization founded on the principles of diversity, respect, and inclusion, WDOMI continues to champion an environment and workplace free from discrimination regardless of the individual's age, sex, disability, race, or ethnicity. In addition to improving the quality of life and the rights of all people with disabilities in Westchester County for almost four decades, WDOMI has also served as a partner of a national network of Independent Living Centers dedicated to independence and equal rights for individuals with disabilities.
