It’s frustrating that often when an article is written about someone who has a chronic illness they are described as “suffering”. It’s such a derogatory term, especially when so many people are thriving, and living wonderful, fulfilling lives – maybe not what they thought they would do/be, but life has a way of releasing inner strength when it is most needed, shining a light on new opportunities.
