The Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership supports the leadership, ethics, and character development efforts at the Naval Academy, and also has extended strategic partnerships with the Navy, Marine Corps, sister services, and influential national institutions both public and private. The Center creates and deploys innovative learning technologies and consultative services that advance ethical leadership development. Through research, and hosted conferences, the Center promotes dialogue with allied nations on ethical dimensions of military leadership. The Center also cultivates important relationships that provide resources to fund the Center's activities and research, aid in development and implementation of effective external communication, and recruit and retain the highest quality individuals who embody the Center's ideals and contribute to its multidisciplinary culture.
